In this course you will learn how to assess and manage soft tissue injuries. The history of soft tissue management is covered and by the end of the course you will have a very good idea of what to include in your subjective and objective examination and how to use your clinical reasoning skills to plan your management of any soft tissue injury including ligaments, tendons, muscles, myofascia and joint capsules. The variations and clinical application of deep transverse frictions, specific soft tissue mobilisations and myofascial release are discussed in detail so that by the time you have completed the course you will be confident enough to use these techniques in your practice. Soft tissue characteristics are explained in the clinical context to bring meaning to our approaches in the clinic.
