Kayleigh Brien
BPhysT (Hons) Pret
Kayleigh’s background as a professional dancer ignited an early obsession to understand how to recondition the imperfections that limit the body from working in its otherwise perfectly synchronised manner.
She works in private practice, seeing an array of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and neurological conditions, both in the acute and outpatient setting. Although she does have a special interest in musculoskeletal biomechanics, the diverse array of conditions she sees assists in providing holistic, integrated management and rehabilitation. “The systems of the human body and the psychosocial drivers thereof all have to function with great synchronicity, regardless of the pathology.”
Along with gaining valuable clinical experience, she endeavours not only to stay up to date with current best practice, but to contribute to it. She completed SPT in 2018.
