Pathology of each area is covered on an undergraduate level. Being in clinical practice as practitioners we are constantly exposed to pathology and dysfunction. In this lecture sports pathology of the shoulder is discussed. What we see more frequently, but also those which we see less often and should not forget about. Understanding the mechanics of several pathologies are discussed. A common presentation of the shoulder is impingement. There are so many associations and contributions to impingement which are taught. Navigating impingement, rotator cuff pathology, instability, gleno-humeral-internal-rotation deficit (GIRD), SLAP lesions and many more are explored.
