Claire Myhill is a Counselling Psychologist, who completed her training at the University of Pretoria in 2017. Since qualifying, she has spent several years working within counselling centres at several universities, private practice contexts, and on the team of a Johannesburg-based addiction rehabilitation facility.
She spent her childhood in relatively high-performance settings, whilst also overcoming several physical challenges, so learned about building resilience and performance enhancement from a young age. Instead of just coping with setbacks, she found ways to grow and thrive, and regards this as one of her greatest strengths.
Claire’s personal challenges and professional interests have led her to develop insight into trauma, chronic pain, and neurodivergence, as well as how to help people dealing with anxiety and depression more generally. She also focuses on helping people enhance their performance and achieve their goals in various settings, through sport psychology and leadership development strategies.
