In this 2 hour webinar recording, we are happy to bring you Part 6 of Tanya’s 6 part Online internationally acclaimed Lower Quarter course:

The world has changed. Most Physiotherapy courses are online & Webinars have exploded onto the scene. As a result, theoretical knowledge within the profession has improved tenfold, but Clinical skills, Manual skills & Clinical reasoning skills have declined. Assessing the whole patient to find the source of the problem, the Primary Driver, is becoming a lost art. So much sub-grouping is taking place, practitioners are becoming ‘experts’ in one joint, losing the knowledge to look at co-relationships & regional inter-dependence. This means that patient-centred care is under threat as successful treatment outcomes are potentially reduced.

This Clinically relevant course introduces the clinician to concepts necessary to evaluating the movement system as a whole, respecting the Biopsychosocial model, aimed at finding the primary source of the problem.

On this course you will learn:

  • How to Teach Co-Contracting of the Abdominal Canister without global muscle substitution
  • Exercises for Rehab of the Global Stabilizers
  • Exercises for Regaining Global Mobiliser Extensibility
  • Clinical patient presentations and best management strategies

Such an important course for all Physios - experienced & new

I loved the effort put in and all the knowledge that Tanya shared. I definitely will be implementing a lot of it in my practice. The lack of slides & the assessment form is unfortunate especially considering that I would have chosen to do the in person version to have that access.

Incredible and informative

What an amazing course, I feel that every Physiotherapist should be doing these courses. I did mine as an online course, I miss getting a handout like at the in person course that you can reference back to, as it is a lot of information and from what I understand, you only have access to the online course material for 90 days.
