ODNS teaches an integrated approach to Trigger point needling and pathology, providing the student with a thorough understanding of the MTrP and how it is affected by Dry Needling. This online theory of needling course is designed to be completed before attending the 2-day intensive practical In-Person training course.
The online course is presented in combination videos and articles and includes exam questions for each section. This online portion must be completed before the ODNS Level 2 practical course, and will fulfill written examination requirements for dry needling courses.
Course outline:
- Tensegrity and it’s significance to dry needling
- Applications of EStim with dry needling
- Adverse events
- Nutritional considerations
- TMJ Dysfunction
Please note: that by completing these online courses in isolation without attending the 2 Day In-Person Practical courses does not give you a Dry Needling Qualification and does not qualify you to practice dry needling.
Enjoyed the articles and the power points. Well presented. Would have loved to see more information on the tensegrity component that was in the outlines. At the end, I felt those were lacking.
