Compassion fatigue, stress and burnout were occupational hazard in the helping professions prior to COVID-19. However, the pandemic has brought additional issues such as moral injury, pre-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Burn-in to the fore, issues that both healthcare providers and their client base will be facing.
