Gillian Robertson is a passionate physiotherapist who thrives on working with people and is deeply fascinated by how the human body functions. She is especially intrigued by the often-overlooked complexity of everyday movements and the intricate systems involved in even the simplest tasks, like walking and running.
She completed her BSc in Physiotherapy in 2018, graduating with distinction and earning multiple academic awards. Outside of her clinical work, Gillian is a committed endurance athlete and ultra-distance trail runner. She has completed multiple ultra-marathons, including back-to-back Comrades, and thrives on new challenges in both her personal and professional life. Her endurance sports background reinforces her commitment to injury prevention, proper training techniques, and the critical role of biomechanics in athlete health and performance.
Gillian is also PSSE Advanced Schroth-Certified, allowing her to offer specialised, evidence-based treatment for scoliosis and other spinal conditions. She is passionate about holistic, patient-focused care and enjoys using physiotherapy not only to treat injuries, but to help patients understand and correct the root causes behind them.
