Over the last few years in my physiotherapy career, mainly in the field of sports and orthopedics, I have come across many challenges when it comes to diagnosing and classifying muscle injuries as I am sure most of the other healthcare professionals out there have. This challenge has resulted in many difficulties with the rehabilitation of these sedentary or athletic individuals – which is arguably the most important part to recovery.
Given the high prevalence of muscle injuries, being able to classify them is of utmost importance to ensure the correct rehabilitation for each type of injury.
This CPD accredited course discusses these challenges and provides a solution to this problem. We now have a universal language that we can speak when grading and classifying different kinds of muscle injuries – an essential step to the best rehabilitation!
